Use These Creative Tools on your Chromebooks

Chromebook Creativity

There are many creative professionals or students that are using Chromebooks. These are cheap, inexpensive devices, that are focused on the Chrome web browser. A problem with this is that there are some people that try to do creative work, but cannot complete it because their Chromebook either can’t support it, or they don’t have the power. Well today, we are going to be explaining the best tools for Chromebook Creativity.

Best Photo Editor: Pixlr X

This is a lightweight photo editor that really does the basics that Adobe Photoshop and GIMP can do. There are many reasons why you can use this to do your basic photo editing. This runs through your web browser, so you are able to edit whatever photo that you would want.

Are Chromebooks actually worth using for creativity?

If you want an answer to that question, I’ll answer it with another question. Are people really using Chromebooks for these kind of tasks? Many people in the education market are turning to chromebooks because of their ease of use and functionality. Classes and other programs are using chromebook for small video editing and podcast creating. So, for those people, these programs will work just fine. But for everyone else, the only thing that it does is open huge opportunities for people who are starting out with photo editing and minor video production. I’m gonna stick with using chromebooks for productivity and leave the creative stuff to my main desktop. On the other hand, I am able to go to sleep, knowing that my chromebook is a great backup for my PC in the worst-case senario. Chromebook Creativity is not a common topic, but hopefully this article helped you understand a little bit of what your options are.
